ENTERING OF THE NET SALARY FORMULA

This very formula is created in the cell D6 and it calculates an employee's net salary by subtracting the deduction amount that is calculated in the first formula from the Gross Salary . Here the finished formula in the cell D6 will become: = B6 - C6

You just click on the cell D6 to make it the active cell.

You just type in the equal sign ( = ) into cell D6 .

Tap on the cell B6 with the mouse pointer to add the cell reference to the formula after the equal sign.

Type in a minus sign( - ) in cell D6 just after the cell reference.

You just press the cell C6 with mouse pointer to the cell reference to the formula.

Then you click the Enter key on your keyboard to complete the formula.

Now the answer which is 43,041.66 have to be present in cell D6 .
